Grok Is That You? offers a 24-hour free trial for new users. During this trial period, you will have full access to core features of the system, including AI detection and scam/fraud assessments.

After 24 hours, your trial will automatically convert to a paid membership unless canceled beforehand. By activating the trial, you agree to the automatic billing terms outlined during sign-up.

All charges are handled securely through our payment provider. No refunds are provided for unused time once the trial converts, but you may cancel future billing at any time.

The free trial is limited to one per user. Abuse of the trial system, including duplicate account creation, will result in immediate termination and possible ban.

These terms are subject to change without notice. Continued use of the platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

1. Introduction

Welcome to GROK. By accessing or using our services, software, tools, or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use GROK.

2. Eligibility & User Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use GROK. You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. Misuse will result in suspension or termination.

3. Membership & Payment Terms

GROK offers free and paid membership tiers. You agree to automatic billing (where applicable) and are responsible for canceling your subscription before renewal if you no longer wish to be charged.

4. AI Detection & Content Scoring

GROK uses proprietary AI to assess digital content for signs of artificial generation. These assessments are probabilistic and are not guarantees. They are tools for awareness, not judicial declarations.

5. Scam & Fraud Detection

GROK analyzes suspicious links, domains, and messages to flag potential scams and frauds. These are advisory tools and should be cross-referenced with human judgment.

6. Identity Protection (GROK | Guardian)

We provide services to help users detect identity theft, impersonation, and unauthorized use of their name or likeness. This includes automated takedown generation and alert services. Consent is required for us to act as your digital agent.

7. Takedown Enforcement & Legal Representation

By enabling takedown tools, you authorize GROK to submit formal legal notices on your behalf under relevant law (GDPR, CCPA, DMCA, etc). These are legally formatted, logged, and recorded. We are not a law firm but act as a digital enforcement agent within our scope.

8. Credit Monitoring & Financial Alert System

Premium users receive alerts for unusual activity such as unauthorized loans, credit pulls, or title fraud. This is a preventative system, not a full credit report. We do not issue credit decisions or offer lending.

9. Post-Mortem Control & Digital Estate

Gold-tier users may assign posthumous instructions to GROK for account purging, data deletion, or controlled content legacy. This feature operates upon verified notification of death.

10. Malware, Virus, and Online Threat Protection

GROK scans user-submitted links, domains, and files for signs of viruses, malware, ransomware, keyloggers, and browser hijacking threats. This module is intended to warn users before engagement with harmful software.

11. Browser and Device Behavior Monitoring

When enabled, GROK watches for signs of phishing attempts, formjacking, or browser-based manipulation to alert users of compromise. This does not replace antivirus software, but serves as an added line of defense.

12. Intellectual Property

All code, visuals, logos, content scoring systems, ranking systems, emblems, badges, and written copy are property of GROK. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute our system or branding without express permission.

13. Enforcement & Licensing

We may license GROK tools to vetted agencies or entities. Unauthorized use, scraping, or mimicking of our enforcement features is strictly forbidden and will result in legal action.

14. Suppression & Platform Interference Policy

Any platform, host, or intermediary that suppresses, interferes with, or delays deployment of GROK’s lawful protections will be treated as complicit in digital rights violations. This includes app stores, website hosts, or content delivery networks.

15. User Conduct & Community Standards

Users must not engage in harassment, impersonation, sabotage of other users, or misrepresentation of GROK features. Repeated abuse or trolling behavior will result in account termination.

16. No Liability for Platform Inaction

We are not liable for third-party platforms failing to honor takedown requests, even when submitted properly. GROK enforces rights — it cannot compel foreign or private platforms beyond its jurisdiction.

17. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute must first be resolved informally. If resolution fails, binding arbitration will take place in Indiana. You waive class action rights by using this service.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. All legal matters shall be heard within Indiana jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.

19. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. We log all version changes for reference.
